About Chapters & Special Interest Groups
CMCA has nearly 100 Chapters and Special Interest Groups (SIGs) spread across Australia, offering members countless opportunities to connect with fellow travellers who share a passion for the RV lifestyle.
Chapters and SIGs meet regularly for social gatherings, day trips, overnighters and local events, giving members a ready-made group of like-minded travellers to connect with.
Members are welcome to join a chapter or SIG in their area and take part in their regular activities. You don’t need to belong to a chapter or SIG to attend its events either. If you’re travelling through a new region, you can look up the local chapter or SIG and join in.

Chapter FAQs
You can submit a chapter event through the Event Submission page.
You will need to fill in the required details including Select Chapter, Event Title, Short Description, Event Start Date, Event Finish Date and Event Location Information.
The short description is the text that will appear in The Wanderer and has a maximum of 300 characters.
Please email all edits to wanderer@cmca.net.au and our staff will make these changes for you. Please do not resubmit an existing event with the updated details.
To save you time from scrolling through all upcoming events, you can simply access events of a specific chapter only. Go to the Chapter Directory and click on your specific chapter. Here you will be taken to a web page that provides details of that chapter and all its upcoming events.
Please call the President or Secretary of the chapter you wish to join. Contact details can be found in the Chapter Directory or in The Wanderer magazine.
Of course you can! However we do recommend a polite phone call to the Office Bearers prior to attending.
Yes, you can join as many chapters as you'd like.
