CEO Weekly Message

I’m excited to be heading to Western Australia next week for what promises to be a very productive week for CMCA and our members.

On Monday, I’ll be joined at both events by our WA State Representative, Vince Calleja, as we meet with members in Moora (approximately two hours north of Perth), followed by a member presentation in Pinjarra (one hour south of Perth) on Tuesday.

I’ll be talking about all things CMCA and providing an update on some of the exciting developments across the Club. While I appreciate that it isn’t possible for all WA members to attend these gatherings, we have received an excellent response from those who have RSVP’d, and I’m really looking forward to meeting with everyone and hearing your thoughts and feedback.

On Wednesday, we also have meetings planned with WA politicians to look at legislative changes that could make low-cost camping an easier option to develop. On Wednesday afternoon, we’ll be attending the annual WA Local Government Conference, catching up with key Councils and exploring opportunities.

It will be a busy week of meetings, discussions and networking, all focused on creating greater opportunities for our members and helping to further develop the RV sector across Western Australia.

CMCA currently has two managed WA parks in our CMCA Parks network, and we will continue to explore opportunities to expand the network and provide more options for our members travelling throughout the state.

There is a lot happening across CMCA, and I’m looking forward to sharing more with you as the week progresses.
Have a fantastic weekend everyone, and safe travels wherever you may be.

Safe travelling,
Richard
