CEO Weekly Message

It has been another big week of success on a number of fronts.

In particular, it has been a productive week in the west, where we met with members, discussed key issues with WA politicians and received terrific interest from local councils at the WA Local Government Association (WALGA) Conference held in Perth over the past few days. We are confident these discussions will lead to further advancement of our CMCA Parks network.

In Queensland, the Solos network is currently holding its rally in Maryborough, which has been extremely well attended and very well organised. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate President Merron McEvoy and Rally Organiser John Foster, along with their terrific team of volunteers, who are doing a wonderful job.

The appointed rally managers withdrew from the event a couple of months ago, and Merron and John stepped up, picked up the mantle and ran with it. We were also fortunate to have Chairman Nelson Crawshaw and Director Jo Tremain attend the event and present to members.

The exciting times keep rolling on as we lead up to the National Rally in Bundaberg from 10 to 17 October. Remember, it’s not too late to register!

Safe travelling.
Richard
